I will definitely be recommending this novel, and rate it a 3.5 out of 5 stars – and I am excited for the next installment! Look for this first novel on its publication date at a retailer near you! Not saying it’s not a good story – just … you get it. This is a series I will look for the next book in, just know that in this one – one battle leads to another and another and another until your adrenaline is spent and all you want is a nap.

I will say that towards the last 10% of the book, I kept thinking “Really? ANOTHER battle? ANOTHER twist? I guess for me I was ready to just wrap this one up and go on to book 2.
